Murder Probe Launched After Fan's Hair Set Alight During MOTÖRHEAD Concert
November 26, 2010According to the Yorkshire Post, a murder investigation was launched today after a man died following an altercation at the O2 Academy concert venue in Leeds, England during a concert by MOTÖRHEAD.
Police said 44 year-old Andrew Crawford, who was manager of a builder's merchant, had been struck on the head several times in the center of Leeds. Two other men, now being hunted by police, were seen running off into nearby Cookridge Street.
Police believe the incident is connected to an earlier altercation during the MOTÖRHEAD concert, in which a friend of Crawford had his hair set alight by someone standing nearby.
